Lake Angèle

Lake Angèle has been part of the Air Tamarac outfitter since 2020. Located a 45-minute seaplane flight from our Ste-Anne-du-Lac base, Lake Angèle attracts hunters and fishermen with its diverse environment and exceptional quality of moose hunting and fishing. And that’s not to mention its breathtaking sunsets!

This 10 km2 territory includes 3 different lakes and offers you boats, salt marshes and trails. In order to maintain a superior quality and success of moose hunting, one moose per group per week can be killed, whether for a group of 2 or 4 hunters.

The cottage

With a more eco-friendly mindset, we’re proud to offer you a fully solar-powered “room-on-room” cabin that delivers exceptional hunting quality. We offer an experience where alone in the world and great comfort come together for moose hunting enthusiasts!

This cottage has two closed bedrooms and can accommodate two to four people for a stay starting on Sunday.

This fishing cottage offers:

  • Running water and hot shower
  • 2 closed bedrooms

  • Solar system for : Lighting, refrigerator and running water

Equipment

Our new aluminum boats of the Princecraft Scamper 14 type with new Mercury 8 hp 4-stroke outboard engines each season will please the fisherman in you. Boat with 4 hp engine present at Lac Quille. We provide one boat per hunter at each moose hunting site.

Personal belongings

Air Tamarac packages are European plans. You must therefore bring food, drinking water and personal belongings including towels, sleeping bag and pillows. You must also provide:

  • Hunting equipment
  • Hunting license (available at our offices)
  • Boat card

The weight limit is 1200 pounds per seaplane, including passengers and baggage. If there is excess baggage of 500 pounds or more, we guarantee it by the end of the next day. If not, we will do our best to get it to you as quickly as possible.

  • Sleeping bag, pillows, towels, dishcloths, etc.;
  • In addition to your sleeping bag, bring a single fitted sheet to put on your mattress;
  • Paper towels, napkins and toilet paper;
  • Most popular weapons: 30-06, 270, 300 or magnum caliber; — Fluorescent orange bib;
  • Appropriate clothing according to the season;
  • Equipment for gutting and packaging meat;
  • Garbage bags, Ziploc, plastic wrap;
  • Drinking water;
  • Salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, etc.;
  • Soap, dish soap and cleaning products so that you and (especially) your cottage remain clean until the end;
  • Note: a case of 24 canned beers weighs 17 pounds less than a bottle (18 lbs instead of 35 lbs).

An experienced aide-de-camp is on hand to take care of every detail and guide you to the most productive fishing spots. At Air Tamarac, we offer personalized service throughout your fishing trip. We want you to enjoy a remarkable and memorable experience, for speckled trout fishing and your accommodation in fishing cabins. Hunting regulations

In order to preserve the quality of your moose hunt and the success of your hunting trip, Air Tamarac regulates the quantities of game to be shot. Thus, one moose per territory per week can be shot, whether for a group of 2 or 4 hunters.

  • In Quebec, a minimum of 2 hunters is required for a hunting expedition.
  • Each hunter must have a hunting license (available at our offices).
  • Hunting with a crossbow, bow and black powder is prohibited.
  • Wearing a fluorescent orange hunting vest is mandatory. Any hunter or person accompanying them must wear a vest that extends over the back, shoulders and chest.
  • Game registration is done when you leave. A registration station is available in Ste-Anne-du-Lac at “Sports et variete N&M”.

Hunting Territory

The Lac Angèle hunting territory, with an area of ​​6km2, gives you access to 5 lakes and marshes. The territory is maintained by Air Tamarac staff and meticulous work is carried out throughout the summer to maintain the trails and lookout points, choose the best locations for salt blocks, and identify places suitable for observing moose. Canoes, rowboats and a stretcher for transport are at your disposal.
