Moose hunting combo
For moose hunthing lake Angèle is accessible by a 45-minute seaplane flight from our Sainte-Anne-du-Lac base. It attracts hunters and anglers with the diversity of its environment and its exceptional moose hunting and trophy pike and walleye fishing. Not to mention its breathtaking stunning sunsets!
This 10 km2 territory includes 5 lakes and offers you trails, lookouts, salt marshes, boats and motors. And in order to maintain a superior quality and success of moose hunting, only one moose per group per week can be harvested.


Equipment
Our aluminum boats, Princecraft Scamper 14 models with 8 HP Mercury 4-stroke outboard motors, are sure to please the angler and hunter in you. All our boats are equipped with swivel seats, fishing nets, and life jackets. A square-stern canoe with a 4 HP motor and paddles is available at Lake Quilles. We provide one boat per hunter at each moose hunting site.

Things to bring
Our packages are European plan type. This means you need to bring your own food and personal belongings. You must also get:
- Hunting equipment
- Hunting license (available at our office)
- Sleeping bag, pillows, towels, dishcloths, etc.;
- In addition to your sleeping bag, bring a fitted single sheet to cover your mattress (for couples, a Queen-sized fitted sheet can cover both mattresses);
- Paper towels, napkins and toilet paper;
- Trash bags, Ziploc bags, plastic wrap;
- Salt, pepper, condiments, etc.;
- Most popular weapons: 30-06, 270, 300 or magnum caliber;
- Fluorescent orange bib;
- Appropriate clothing according to the season;
- Equipment for gutting and packaging meat;
- Drinking water;
- Soap, dish soap, and cleaning products to ensure you and your cabin stay clean throughout your hunting trip;
- Note: a case of 24 canned beers weighs 17 pounds less than a bottle (18 lbs instead of 35 lbs).

Package
At Air Tamarac, we provide you with personalized service throughout your hunting trip. We aim to offer you a remarkable and memorable experience at Lake Angèle. Your pilot will take the time to get you settle in and provide information on all the equipment as well as safety tips for camp life. Departing from our base in Sainte-Anne-du-Lac, here is what is included in the Lake Angèle package:
- Round trip seaplane transport from Sainte-Anne-du-Lac
- Game transport to base in our modern cold room

- Unlimited fuel/Topographic map with trails, lookouts and salt licks
- Satellite communication available in case of emergency
- Personalized service
The weight limit is 1200 pounds for groups of 2 to 4, including passengers and luggage. For those concerned about exceeding the required weight limit for the seaplane, we offer the option of delivering beer and drinking water to your cabin before your arrival. This service is available at a reasonable cost.
If there is an excess of 500 pounds of luggage or more, we guarantee its delivery by the end of the day.

Hunting regulations
In order to preserve the quality of your moose hunt and the success of your hunting trip, Air Tamarac regulates the quantities of game to be shot. Thus, one moose per territory per week can be shot, whether for a group of 2, 4 or 6 hunters.
- In Quebec, a minimum of 2 hunters is required for a hunting expedition.
- Each hunter must have a hunting license (available at our offices).
- Hunting with a crossbow, bow and black powder is prohibited.
- Wearing a fluorescent orange hunting vest is mandatory. Any hunter or person accompanying them must wear a vest that extends over the back, shoulders and chest.
- Game registration is done when you leave. A registration station is available in Ste-Anne-du-Lac or register on-line.
- The Government of Canada requires all boaters resident in Canada to hold a boating license. Fines can be as high as $250 for those caught in violation. Take your test online before coming up.

Hunting Territory
The Lake Angèle hunting territory, with an area of 10km2, gives you access to 5 lakes and marshes. The territory is maintained by Air Tamarac staff and meticulous work is carried out throughout the summer to maintain the trails and lookout points, choose the best locations for salt blocks, and identify places suitable for observing moose. Canoes, rowboats and a stretcher for transport are at your disposal.
