Fishing regulations
Air Tamarac has exclusive fishing rights on Lake Hébert. We are extremely proud to be able to manage this body of water and to apply fishing regulations on Lake Hébert that reflect our wildlife objectives. Lake Hébert is a trophy lake for walleye and pike fishing, and we are taking action to preserve it.
- To preserve our exceptional fishing quality for generations to come, the limits are 4 walleye and 4 pike. Walleye must measure between 37 and 53 cm (14.5 and 21 inches) and 4 pike between 50 and 70 cm (20 and 28 inches). All trophy pike must be returned to the water.
- Retained walleye must be transported whole or in wallet-cut fillets. For more information on this new fishing modality, please consult the Ministry’s website.
- The Government of Canada requires all boaters resident in Canada to hold a boating license. Fines can be as high as $250 for those caught in violation. We recommend that you take your test online before coming to the outfitter.
