Three outfitters accessible by seaplane
Air Tamarac offers 24 comfortable and fully equipped cabins on one of its three outfitters, the Lake Hébert Outfitter (including Lake Charlotte) located in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory, the Lake Sauterelle Outfitter in Haute-Mauricie, and the Gouin Reservoir Outfitter (including Lake Angèle).

A brief history. The Blanchard family welcomes you
Founded in 1968 by Mr. Jacques R. Bérubé in Clova, Air Tamarac was acquired by Éliane Bédard and Jean Blanchard in 1994. Over the years, Éliane and Jean have expanded the seaplane fleet and doubled the number of cabins, including in 2017 with the acquisition of Air Melançon, its base in Ste-Anne-du-Lac, and its outfitter at “Lac-de-la-Sauterelle”.
In 2024, after 30 years of excellent service, Éliane and Jean welcomed new shareholders with the arrival of Charlotte Morrissette, Louis Blanchard, and Robin Blanchard as new co-owners of the AIR TAMARAC group and its outfitters and air taxi services. It is with renewed enthusiasm that we look to the future, and this new energy will ensure that our family business remains the undisputed leader in hunting and fishing by seaplane in Quebec.
