Fishermen friends, our fly-in adventures in Haute-Mauricie and in the south parth territory of Eeyou Istchee Baie-James offer the best walleye, pike<\/strong><\/a>, and brook trout fishing<\/strong><\/a> accessible by seaplane! For hunters, we also provide exceptional moose hunting<\/strong><\/a> on 5 well-managed territories, exclusively accessible by air!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us transport you to one of our three outfits. With top-quality facilities and equipment, as well as abundant wildlife, everything is in place for a memorable fly-in fishing trip or hunting expedition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three outfitters in one, accessible by seaplane<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Air Tamarac offers 24 comfortable and fully equipped cabins on one of its three outfits, either Lake H\u00e9bert<\/a> Outfitter (including Lake Charlotte<\/a>) located in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory, Lake Sauterelle<\/a> Outfitter in Haute-Mauricie, or Gouin Reservoir<\/a> (including Lake Ang\u00e8le<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our family business offers superior fly-in hunting and fishing in Quebec. Our young and dynamic team will meet your expectations, and our abundant wildlife, perfect for brook trout fishing, walleye fishing, and trophy pike fishing will amaze you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A brief history. The Blanchard family welcomes you<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 1968 by Mr. Jacques R. B\u00e9rub\u00e9 in Clova, Air Tamarac was acquired by \u00c9liane B\u00e9dard and Jean Blanchard in 1994. Over the years, \u00c9liane and Jean have expanded the seaplane fleet and doubled the number of cabins, especially in 2017 with the acquisition of Air Melan\u00e7on and its Ste-Anne-du-Lac seaplane base and Lake Sauterelle outfitter, which was a very positive move for Air Tamarac. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, after 30 years at the helm, \u00c9liane and Jean welcomed new shareholders with the arrival of Charlotte Morrissette, Louis Blanchard, and Robin Blanchard as new co-owners of the AIR TAMARAC group companies of outfitters and air taxi services. It is therefore with renewed enthusiasm that we look forward to the future. This new energy will ensure that our family business remains the undisputed leader in hunting and fishing by seaplane in Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
