Our fly-in northern pike and walleye fishing cabins come equipped with:

• Full bathrooms with hot running water for shower and inside toilet;
• Closed bedrooms;
• Satellite phone on site;
• Wood stove with dry splitted wood;
• Solar powered lights, refrigerator and freezer (two refrigerators in larger cabins);
• Propane stove and oven;
• Dishes, pots, pans and all kitchen utensils;
• Mattresses (double and single);
• Fish cleaning house.

In order to lighten floatplane schedules, as any Quebec fly-in lodge would do, we try to concentrate the fishing lodge turnover on specific days. Your stay at Lake Hébert should begin or end on one of those days.

Personnal effects:

• Sleeping bag, pillows, dish towels and cloths;
• Bring your own fitted sheet to put on the mattress (for couples, a Queen fitted sheet wraps up both mattresses);
• Paper towels, napkins, toilet paper;
• Tamarac hat, sun protection lotion and sunglasses;
• Rain suits, warm clothing and good boots;
• Insect repellent and lotion (bug net and mosquito coils good for June 15 to July 15 trip);
• Filet knife and sharpener;
• Garbage bags, ziploc bags, aluminum foil, plastic wraps;
• Drinkable water;
• Staple items (salt, pepper, sugar, etc...);
• Condiments;
• Dish detergent, bath soap, all purpose cleaner, so you and (mostly) your cabin can stay clean until the end of your stay;
• Cases of beer in cans please (18 pounds only... bottles are 35 pounds!);
• Pack light. Bring only what you will use and remember that smaller jars and formats can do the job.

• Our fishing rules: Walleyes are limited to 4 between 14,5 to 21 inches (37 to 53 cm). Northern pikes are limited to 4 between 20 to 28 inches (50 to 70 cm), every trophy fish shall go back to the lake.
• The walleyes kept must be transported whole or in fillets with the skin wholly intact which means that the fillets have to stay attached by the tail. This is to permit identification of the walleye species and to establish total length. For more info on the new regulation we invite you to visit our Government web site;
• Remember to ask for catch & release licence and permits if you intend not to bring lots of fish back home. You can mix regular and catch & release licence in the same boat.   
• Bathymetric chart of the lake is available for sonar, GPS, smartphones and tablets through NAVIONICS+.

• All boat operators in Canada (doesn’t apply to U.S. residents) must have the Card or they risk expensive fines.  We strongly suggest that you follow the online boating course available at
